“Passion for our color”: the Mineiro-pau and the Physical Education - Abstract

Based on the Law 11.645, there has been an effort to find evidences of the African presence in the Brazilian Culture, through working side by side with Fundamental Level students on artistic aspects influenced by this presence. In the course of Physical Education have been subject of study notions of Culture and experiences with popular traditions. In this article, will be presented some pedagogical trends of that matter, having the popular traditions as the main subject while addressing the refered law impacts and the questions that have arisen during the mentioned work.
