This study aimed to compare the effects of a programme of strength and muscular resistance on the level of quality of life of elderly participants in the programme of family health (PSF). The subjects (n = 98 individuals) were divided into three groups, one group of force (GF n = 31), a group of muscular resistance (GRM n = 32) and a control group (CG n = 35). Statistical analysis was performed in a descriptive way, to get the profile of the data set and by inference analysis by the Shapiro-Wilk test to check the uniformity of the sample. After the study was observed that both GF and GRM obtained increases in scores in dom2, dom3, dom4, dom5, dom6 and QVG-OLD (p <0.05) compared to the GC, where the GRM showed higher scores (p <0.05) in dom1, dom5 and QVG-OLD compared with the GF. |
