> Resumo  > Abstract
The strength training provokes adaptations in the organism as increase of the maximum force and selective hypertrophy of the fibers kind II. The aerobic training produces changes in the enzymes that intervene in the aerobic metabolism as to citrate syntahse and increase of the number and size of the mitochondria in the muscular fibers. The objective of the study was evaluating the influences of the aerobic training and of the maximum force. Participated of the study, 33 subjects of 3 group of training. Group Control (GC), Aerobic Group (G1) and Group Forces (G2). The maximum force was evaluated through the dynamic test 1RM, performed in 2 periods before of the program of training and after 6 weeks of training. The results found show that the G2 and G1 had increased significant in the maximum force. The 2 kinds of training provoke adaptations that provoked changes in the maximum force, but note clearly that the group forces presented more increased in the maximum force than aerobic group. In conclusion the training of force provokes an increase more accentuated in the maximum force, needing more studies for verify if these adaptations occur due to a better recruitment of the quick fibers.
