Possibilities of gymnastics in its relation with leisure and society - Abstract

This research work presents a preliminary discussion focussing on the possibilites of gymnastics as a leisure experience and its relation to society. It also addresses the way through which gymnastics has gained ground in gyms, expanding as a consumption product. This text points to the need of searching for a pleasant excitemente in gymnastics, which is necessary for it to be pleasing and fun, by locating the playful component in it. As such, this text hopes to aid in the implementation of gymnastics in the field of leisure, although playfulness is not its only component.
