Club de Regatas Guahyba-Porto Alegre: o nacionalismo em revistas esportivas de um clube teuto-brasileiro (1930 e 1938) - Abstract

The nationalism, characteristic of between wars period, 1918-1939, chewed differents social aspects, checked in local and global field. The purpose this research is to identify the nationalist discourse linked in rowing practice through the magazines published in 1930 by Club de Regatas Guahyba and 1938 by Club de Regatas Guahyba-Porto Alegre (GPA), to analyze the meaning this discourse for the GPA?s teuto-brazilian community, its consequence and its relationship with the social, political and economical context, in national and international levels during the between wars period. The material researched was obtained through of olders rowingers personal?s archives and of Club de Regatas Guahyba-Porto Alegre?s archives.
