The autistic child's therapeutic and educational intervention, starting from a physical approach, investigated the types of learnings that autistic children can accomplish, considering their possibilities of real development and their possibilities of potential development. The provided thoeries of the investigation are based on the current knowledge about autistic syndrome, the psicomotricidade relacional (relational phycomotricity) and Vygotski´s studies on children with developemental deficiencies. The study of qualitative cut used the methodology of the descriptive type of case study, that counted with five participants, four of them male and the other female. The documents used for collect information were: interviews, documental analysis, the participants' direct observations in the therapeutic interventions (descriptive and with certain guide lines), and sessions of psicomotricidade relacional (relational phsycomotricity). The research was developed at the School of Physical Education of the Federal University (Escola de Educação da Universidade Federal) of Rio Grande do Sul (RS) and at the Academical Center (Centro Universitário) La Salle in Canoas. The analysis of the information and the discussion of the results were accomplished starting from four variables: Manifestations of the syndrome and evident behaviors, Materials availlable as measurers of the evolution (or growth) of mental processes, Imitation as significant factor of the evolutionary process of the autistics, And the glance above their sexuality. The study demonstrated that the intervention that was done accomplished pedagogic-therapeutics which generated changes in the autistic children's behavior and development. |
